Welcome to the Design Technology Department
Design technology at Upton High School offers learners the opportunity to develop skills, knowledge and understanding of designing and making a range of products.
Our philosophy and approach is based upon making learning an exciting, engaging and enjoyable experience, accessible and challenging to all.
Learners are given the opportunity to focus on specific design technology subjects -
- product design,
- food
- textiles
Studying these subject areas, learners will be encouraged to think creatively and imaginatively, and develop a range of transferable life skills.
