The school has seen some of the best results in its history across a range of academic and vocational qualifications. Despite the challenging backdrop of the last few years in education, learners have exceeded all expectations and demonstrated great resilience and character. The school hall was once again full with delighted learners and equally delighted parents. It was an amazing start to the day filled with emotion and relief; it was a sight to behold!

Almost 80% of learners achieved at grade 4 or above in both English and Maths and almost 60% achieved a grade 5 or above in English and Maths. There were equally strong performances across all the option subjects.

Lee Cummins, Headteacher said, ‘Today’s results are truly deserved, the class of 2024 have been a remarkable year group, well done to each and every learner. We very much look forward to welcoming many of our learners into our Sixth Form where they will continue to thrive. I would like to thank parents for their unwavering support and the dedicated teaching staff who have helped to ensure this cohort of learners can go on to the next stage in their education proud of what they have achieved.’

Esther Bradbury, Deputy Headteacher, added ‘we are so proud of the hard work and commitment that our learners have dedicated to the preparation for these examinations. Their focus, organisation and resilience have paid off and this year's results are truly commendable. Our learners are now well equipped to move on successfully to the next stage in their education and training and we wish them the very best.’
