Carnegie Medal Visit
A group of KS3 learners travelled to The Kings School last Thursday for an event marking the announcement of the shortlist for the Carnegie Medal.
The Carnegie Medal is awarded to the UK’s best book for young people every year. Our learners were a credit to Upton as they mixed with the learners and staff from Kings and Blacon High School and discussed the shortlisted books. They also met Ros Harding, the Chair of the Carnegie Medal Judging Panel this year.
