Year 7 Drama learners experience two, 1-hour lessons of Drama over the fortnightly timetable. Learners are introduced to what Drama is and how it is successfully created. Learners initially explore how to Build a Character and how to rehearse effectively. These skills are developed throughout the year as learners engage in Immersive Theatre experiences, explore naturalistic scripts and start to learn about Technical Drama such as Lighting and Costumes.

Year 7 will attend a Christmas Pantomime at a local Theatre to experience Live Theatre. Learners fully utilise online streaming platforms such as National Theatre Live and Digital Theatre Plus.
